Adding Customer Location Codes

Customer Codes can be added to a customer profile and then used to categorize loads for a customer.

EXAMPLE: Customer has 3 locations, instead of creating 3 different customers (like you would have in the past) you can create one customer with 3 "location codes" and categorize each

Here is how you do it:

Go to Customer Profile > Details > Customer Codes > [+]

Then click the dropdown and select type (currently only Location is available) and type in your code

This code will show up in multiple places when building a load and in the load profile:

#1 - New Load Wizard

If building a load for a customer that has a customer code the "customer code" dropdown will show up in the new load wizard.

Click the dropdown and select the type:

This will give you a dropdown with all of the customer codes for that customer:

#2 - LTL Portal

If building a load for a customer that has a customer code the "customer code" dropdown will show up in the LTL Portal after you click to book the load, in the book shipment > shipment details page. There is a section that will show up at the bottom of the page for customer codes
