Saferwatch Assure Assist Integration
SaferWatch - Integration Setup
***NOTE: Saferwatch requires an assure level subscription to utilize their Integration with EZ Loader TMS. Contact your Saferwatch representative if you are not sure if you subscribe to Saferwatch assure.***
1: Contact your safer watch representative and ask for your "API Key"
2: Go to the Integrations page in your Settings (click your initials in the top right and choose SETTINGS)
3. Click the + sign under "API Portal Integrations" and select "saferwatch" from the drop down.
4. Enter your API key provided by your saferwatch rep and click save. Your saferwatch integration is complete!
Saferwatch - Functionality
Once your Saferwatch integration is active, EZ Loader will port in both liability and cargo insurance information as well as the carriers Risk Assessment. EZ Loader will also automatically upload a certificate of insurance in the documents section if available.
Please note: This information will only show IF it is available in Saferwatch's database.
EZ Loader triggers a "pull" of information from Saferwatch's database in a number of different scenarios. During these "information pulls" EZ Loader will also update any previously ported carrier insurance/risk assessment information.
You can also select a carrier to be added to Saferwatch's "watchlist" from within EZ Loader that will update on Saferwatch's website.
Trigger 1: Onboarding a carrier
When Onboarding a carrier EZ Loader will look to Saferwatch's database and import a carriers DOT #, Insurance Information, and risk assessment if available. This information will be displayed before sending a carrier onboarding as well as in the carriers profile.
Trigger 2: Carrier assigned to a load (Or carrier is removed and replaced with new carrier)
Whenever a carrier is assigned to a load, or a new carrier replaces a previously assigned carrier, EZ Loader will search Saferwatch's database and pull any updated information if applicable. This updated information will reflect in the load profile in the carrier section.
Trigger 3: Every 30 days
Every 30 days EZ Loader will search Saferwatch's database and will add/update any carrier information that is available.
Trigger 4: Every 2 hours for watchlist carriers
EZ Loader will search Saferwatch's database for updates on any carrier that has been tagged to the "Watchlist"
Trigger 5: Manual Pull
In the Carrier Profile > Details > insurance & Certifications card you can click the REFRESH button next to SaferWatch to do a manual pull of information. This is helpful if you are checking out a carrier in your system and want to make sure this is the most up to date information.
HOW TO BYPASS SAFERWATCH
SCENARIO: You want to add a new Carrier in EZ Loader. After selecting “New Carrier” by clicking the “+” in the Command Center, the MC# is pulled from SaferWatch and displays an “Unacceptable” Risk Assessment rating, but you’ve worked with the carrier previously and want to bypass the risk assessment.

Once you have completed these steps, you will be able to add the carrier to the load.
NOTE: This is a 24 hour override so SaferWatch will update this carrier with as Unacceptable again unless SaferWatch changes the assessment.
