How to Assign a Carrier to a Load
Adding a Carrier to an Available Load
In EZ Loader TMS, when a load is in Available status, it means there is no Carrier assigned to the load.
There are two things you can do to assign a carrier on a load:
- ASSIGN A CARRIER - This will open a window that will allow you to search and assign ACTIVE carriers.
- EZ FREIGHT MATCHING - This allows you to tender this load to multiple carriers based on the lane and available equipment types

Click on ASSIGN A CARRIER
ASSIGN A CARRIER BY SEARCHING FOR A CARRIER BY NAME OR MC#
CARRIERS ARE COLOR CODED TO SHOW IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE TO BE PUT ON THE LOAD
RED – DO NOT USE -OR- NOT AVAILABLE
YELLOW – MISSING REQUIREMENTS IN CARRIER PROFILE
GREEN – AVAILABLE AND GOOD TO GO
Send the Rate Confirmation
Clicking "Save & Send Rate" will send the dispatcher a Digital Rate Confirmation to sign. You will receive a notification when this is signed and good to go.
If you want to copy anyone else on the Rate Confirmation request, add them in the CC box.
