How to Report a Quickbooks Desktop Integration Sync Error

Experiencing a sync error with your EZ Loader Quickbooks Desktop sync app? Below you'll find a walkthrough describing how to retrieve the sync error from your QB Desktop Sync app to submit to our Support Team. We'll review the error and reply to you with steps to fix the error.

NOTE: If you are using Quickbooks Online, we'll spare your eyes and you can stop reading here as this article only applies if you're using Quickbooks Desktop


1. After opening your EZ Loader Quickbooks Desktop Sync app, check to see if you receive a pop up window asking you to update the app. If the screenshot below appears, select OK and proceed with updating the app.

2. Open up the Sync app from your computer. When clicking one of the blue sync buttons seen below, you may encounter a QB Desktop Sync error message as seen below.

3. The error message pop up window might look like this seen below. If you see it, click OK.

4. Next, you'll see the full error message in the window seen below. Close this window.

5. Head back to the main screen of the sync app and click Sync Settings at the bottom of the window.

6. In the Settings window seen below, click the toggle switch to activate the Create Log File function. This will activate your computer to create log files that we can review when a sync error occurs.

7. Click the Send Log Files to Support link in the screenshot below.

8. After clicking the Send Log Files to Support link, a window will appear displaying the error "log" files that your computer has saved from within your Quickbooks Desktop Sync app. 

9. Select the file with the most recent date and time.

10. Click Open.

11. The Quickbooks Desktop Sync app will then automatically send an email to our Support Team with the files you selected that will be reviewed by our Support Team. Once received, you will receive a confirmation e-mail that the error(s) is being reviewed. Lastly, you'll receive a final reply with directions on how to remedy the error.
