Carrier Approval User Groups

Summary

There are two user groups associated with approving carriers at the load level prior to sending a rate confirmation.

Carrier Approval Required - Users under this permission will be able to build a load and assign a carrier however they will not be able to send a carrier rate confirmation or dispatch sheet until someone with the "Carrier Approval Manager" permission set selects the "Carrier Approved" checkbox on the load. Once the carrier is approved the "Carrier Approval Required" user will have the ability to send a carrier rate confirmation or dispatch sheet.

Carrier Approval Manager - Functions as a standard user (i.e. can send a carrier rate confirmation at any time) but also has the ability to approve carriers on a specific load giving a "carrier approval required" user the ability to send a rate confirmation.

Carrier Approval Required

Can build loads and assign a carrier but can not send a carrier rate confirmation until an approval manager approves the carrier at the load level.

Carrier Approval Manager

Functions as a standard user (i.e. can send a carrier rate confirmation at any time) but also has the ability to approve carriers on a specific load.

To approve a carrier on a load, navigate to the Load Profile > Details > Status Card
