Contacting DAT to Activate a DAT Integration

DAT Integrations such as a Loadboard or Rating and Capacity integration first require your DAT account representative to active your Integration connection.


To initiate the activation process please email techsupportteamleads@dat.com with the following information:

  • Customer Name
  • Customer Main Contact: Name/PH number
  • Any unique identifier for that customer (MC #, Address, etc)
  • Desired Interface (EX. Loadboard, Rating + Capacity REST API)
  • Service Account Email*** (See Important Information below regarding your service account email)

***DAT's support team will set up a Service Account on the customer's (your companies) account.  It is highly recommended to have a unique service account email created prior to contacting DAT.


Steps for creating a service account:

For your service account you will need an email that is not associated with an existing DAT user, that you'll use to log in on behalf of your organization.  Most companies will do this by either generating a new email (Ex: datserviceaccount@abclogistics.com), using a group email (Ex: admin@abclogistics.com), or using a + to make a unique email if your email service allows that (example: johndoe+1@abclogistics.com or johndoe+dat@abclogistics.com).  


If any changes need to be made to that your companies set up with DAT in order to activate that integration, their DAT account manager will be notified and your company will be contacted in order to enact that change.***
