Integrations - MyCarrierPortal (MCP)

EZ Loaders Integration with MyCarrierPortal gives you access to MCP's Carrier Monitoring and Onboarding Services.

Note: MyCarrierPortal is formerly known as MyCarrierPackets

Setup

Directly within your MCP account, navigate to the "Integration Tools" page, select "Add Integration" and choose EZ Loader TMS from the dropdown list.

Create an integration username and password for EZ Loader TMS

Once you have created your integration credentials, go into your EZ Loader account and select your initials in the top right corner > Settings > Integrations

Select the + sign and choose "MyCarrierPackets"

Enter your recently created Integration Credentials

Final Step: Contact your EZ Loader Support Team at support@ezloadertms.com to notify us that we need to schedule a mass MCP update for historical carriers in your account. Going forward new carriers will automatically connect with MCP.

Functionality - Carrier Monitoring

Once your MCP integration is active, EZ Loader will pull in the following data from MCP for Onboarded Carriers:

  • Cargo + Liability Insurance
  • Risk Assessment
  • W9 information
  • COI, W9, and Carrier Agreement Document
  • Contact Details
  • Payee Information
    • Note: There will be a flag within EZL if a carrier requests a factoring company as their payee.

When a carrier's MC number is entered into the New Carrier Wizard within EZL, the Risk Assessment and Insurance Pass/Fail overview will display within EZL. Once the carrier is fully onboarded the remaining information will pull into the carrier profile in EZ Loader.

Every 15 Minutes EZL will make a call to MCP's to check for any current carrier updates and also check for new carriers who have just completed their onboarding.

Functionality - Onboarding

When the "Send Onboarding" option is selected through the New Carrier Wizard within EZL, instead of using EZL's carrier onboarding process the carrier will be sent an email directing them to MCP's onboarding form.

PLEASE NOTE: You must enter both the MC and DOT number when using MCP to sucessfully send an onboarding.

Once the onboarding is completed, the broker will receive a notification email and the provided information listed above will port into the carrier profile within EZL.
