How to Set Up a Customer Portal Login (LTL)

Setting up a Customer Portal Login (LTL)

In EZ Loader TMS - Business Pro accounts, you have access to give customers access to a customer portal that allows them to see what is going on in their account as well as set them up to quote and book freight themselves (with margin built in). Below is a description of this feature and how to set it up for your customers.

Below you'll find a walkthrough describing how to setup a Customer portal login within a Customer profile.

Customer Profile > Portal Section

Each card in the Portal Section of the customer profile serves a purpose to get your customer set up. Here is the breakdown:

  • Users Card - Click the + button to add a new customer portal user to this profile.
  • Settings Card - Click the edit button to define Margin Type and Amount, Default Freight Terms, and Customer Specific LTL API Integrations.
  • LTL Accessorials - This card allows you to add a markup if a certain accessorial is selected for this customer.
  • Customer Logo - allows you to upload the customer's logo to show up when they log into the portal. Leave this blank and it will continue to be your logo.

  • Send LTL Customer Confirmation Emails - This checkbox will send an email to this user whenever an LTL Load is booked in their customer portal (good for visibility). This will also send them an email if you book loads for them in the LTL Portal.
