Carrier Profile Requirements to Assign a Carrier to a Load
In Summary, when Insurance information is entered, a Carrier Agreement document type has been uploaded to the profile (Either manually or through the digital carrier onboarding process), and the Carrier profile is set to Active status, the Carrier can be assigned to a Load.
Step 1: Enter Insurance Information
Add Insurance Manually:
Go to the Carrier Profile > Details > Insurance & Certifications > Click Edit
Fill in the insurance information and click save.
Add Insurance Automatically (Saferwatch):
If a SaferWatch integration is established, the insurance information will be automatically pulled in automatically during the carrier onboarding process IF the insurance information exists within SaferWatch's Database. If the insurance information does not port over from safer watch you will need to add it manually.

Step 2: Check to ensure a Carrier Agreement has been uploaded into the Documents section
A Carrier Agreement will automatically be uploaded into the Carrier's profile upon completion of the Digital Carrier Onboarding Process.
A Carrier Agreement can also be upload manually:
Carrier's Profile > Documents > + Icon > Select Doc Type = Carrier Agreement > Select File for Upload > Save
Step 3: Change the status of the Carrier profile to Active.
- Go to Details > Carrier Info > Status > Select Active
To recap, when Insurance information is entered, a Carrier Agreement document type has been uploaded, and the Carrier profile is in Active status, the Carrier can be added to a Load.
