Rating & Capacity - Setup


This article covers the steps to connect your different Rating and Capacity Integrations.

Available Integrations:

DAT - Rate View

TruckStop - RateMate

TruckStop - Rate Insights


DAT Rating & Capacity - Setup


IMPORTANT - The DAT Rating & Capacity must be set up at the COMPANY level as well as the USER level.


Step 1: DAT must first activate your API for Rating & Capacity

Step 2 - Go to the Integrations page located in your Settings (click your initials in the top right and choose SETTINGS)

Step 3 - Click the + sign under "API Portal Integrations" and select "DAT Capacity" from the drop down. 

Step 4 - Enter the appropriate information into the respective fields below and click Save

  • User Name - (This should be the email/username that is associated with your main DAT account)
  • Password - (This should be the email/username that is associated with your main DAT account)

REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR DAT RATING

You will need to add "DAT Rating" integration at the company level as well.

IMPORTANT - FINAL STEPS FOR DAT

Each user must now go into their Settings > Profile page and connect


Truckstop Rating & Capacity - Setup


IMPORTANT - Unlike DAT, the Truckstop Rating & Capacity cam be set up at EITHER COMPANY level -or- USER level. Either set up will allow the user to (EDIT THIS SECTION, FINISH YOUR THOUGHT AND EXPLAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COMPANY AND PROFILE LEVEL)


FOR COMPANY WIDE SETUP

Step 1 - Go to the Integrations page located in your Settings (click your initials in the top right and choose SETTINGS)

Step 1 - Click the + sign under "API Portal Integrations" and select "DAT Capacity" from the drop down. (EDIT /REMOVE THIS IS TS SECTION, CHANGE STEP ORDER NUMBER)

Step 3 - Select Truckstop Rate Mate or Truckstop Rate Insights - depending on which service level you have for Truckstop Rating (EDIT, NEED TO BREAK UP RATE INSIGHT AND RATE MATE BECAUSE ONLY 1 IS OAUTH)


Step 4 - Click the Red Truckstop square which will redirect you to the Truck Stop login screen. Enter your credentials and select "link accounts"

REPEAT THESE STEPS FOR TRUCKSTOP CAPACITY - COMPANY LEVEL (EDIT, CAPACITY DOES NOT HAVE O AUTH NEEDS ITS OWN SECTION)


Setting Up Truckstop Rating & Capacity at a User Level

**Remember - with the Truckstop integration, you only need to connect EITHER company wide or user specific integrations.
