Prospects Search
Prospects Search
The Prospects tab under CRM on the sidebar contains your Prospect list. A Prospect is a company that you are calling on that hopefully becomes a Customer. To become a Customer, a prospect must be "promoted." When a prospect is promoted, all information is transferred to the Customer profile. Clicking on the Prospect link will take you to the search page where you can run a Basic basic search for a Prospect based on name, status, city, etc. or run an Advanced search filtering certain parameters.
The horizontal bar at the top is called the Simple Search bar and it contains it's own Search button to the right. You can search for any term related to the Prospect you're looking for, and examples are provided in the simple search bar for reference.
The Advanced Search section resides below the Simple Search bar. This section can be used to filter down your search to specific parameters.
Prospects profiles are labeled under multiple statuses:
Customer - When searching for Prospects, Customer profiles can be included in the search so that you don't accidentally add a Prospect to your account that is already a Customer
Hot Prospect / Internal Lead / External Lead / etc. - You can choose from multiple statuses based upon your prospecting cycle.
Unassigned - This prospect is not assigned to any User in your account, and is available to be called on.

- CLICK ON THE STATUS DROP-DOWN > CHOOSE "All Selected"
- CLICK ON THE SALES REP DROP-DOWN > CHOOSE "Select All"
- CLICK THE ADVANCED SEARCH BUTTON ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT
Search results can be sorted in ascending and descending order by clicking on the column headers Name, Status, Primary Contact, etc.
Clicking on the prospect name will take you to the Prospect profile.
